Quantity Surveyor Role

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our client's team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will work on Social Housing Responsive Repairs and Planned refurbishment works programs, including Kitchen, Bathroom, and Roofing refits.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Monitor contract progress, assess, and report any changes affecting project costs and timelines.
  2. Liaise with Contract Managers to establish project specifications and requirements.
  3. Value and authorise payments to sub-contractors.
  4. Assist in controlling contract budgets.
  5. Prepare and monitor cash flow forecasts for designated projects.
  6. Prepare and submit monthly applications for payment to the Client/Client's representative.
  7. Prepare monthly valuation reports.
  8. Submit invoices for certified value and ensure timely payments.
  9. Attend and contribute to meetings with work colleagues and/or Clients/Customers, building relationships and demonstrating excellent communication skills.
  10. Assist in developing the procurement programme.
  11. Assist in preparing, processing, and selecting estimates, bids, and tenders to demanding timescales.

This is a hybrid position requiring flexibility to travel and work both on-site and in the office.

The ideal candidate will have experience working on planned refurbishment works of Tenanted Social Housing properties, covering all aspects of refurbishments, including Kitchens, Bathrooms, doors, and Roofing replacements.
