We are seeking a highly qualified Academic Instructor to join our team at UCL Eastman Dental Institute. About You

To be considered for this role, applicants must have a doctorate in English Literature and a proven ability to teach both Old and Middle English. Experience in teaching one-to-one tutorials, including the development of learning plans, monitoring student progress, and providing pastoral care and support, is also essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach courses covering the Old and Middle English period at undergraduate level
  • Provide one-to-one tutorials to undergraduate students
  • Undertake normal duties of teaching administration
  • Attend departmental meetings
  • Participate in the interviewing of UCAS applicants and marking of interview candidates' written work
