Salary: £26,915 per annum plus 10% shift allowance

Working Hours: Continental shifts, 10am-10pm

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Shift Supervisor to join our Warehouse team at IForce. As a Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for supporting the Shift Manager in ensuring the efficient handling and dispatch of customer products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Handling: Ensure all products are handled and dispatched in line with customer specifications and quantities, meeting Service Level Agreement standards.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure the handling of all products is carried out to the highest standards of Health and Safety.
  • Stock Integrity: Ensure optimum levels of stock integrity are achieved through understanding of all processes and procedures of Warehouse Operations.
  • Team Supervision: Supervise, guide, support, instruct, and train staff within areas of responsibility.
  • Performance Management: Carry out regular 1-2-1s and reviews with colleagues as prescribed in the performance management cycle.
  • Record Keeping: Ensure accurate records are maintained against activity as required under Site Operating Procedures.
  • Process Compliance: Ensure all processes, daily checks, defect reporting, training, and operations of MHE are conducted in line with both Company and Legislative Health and Safety Requirements.
  • Commercial Objectives: Support the commercial objectives of the business through a process of continual review.
  • Additional Duties: Carry out any other duties, which from time to time may be reasonably requested from the site management team.

Requirements:

  • Warehouse Experience: A thorough understanding of all warehouse areas.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail.
  • Team Management: Experience of managing teams within a warehouse/production environment.
  • Teamwork: Strong team player as well as able to work on their own initiative.
  • Time Management: Excellent time management skills and problem-solving skills.
  • Enthusiasm: Enthusiasm, drive, and a can-do attitude.
  • Computer Skills: PC Literate to a minimum of intermediate level in MS Office.
