Trainee Residential Surveyor Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious individual to join our team as a Trainee Residential Surveyor. As a Trainee, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in residential surveying and property risk services, working alongside our experienced team of RICS-registered surveyors.

About the Role

As a Trainee Residential Surveyor, you will be responsible for assisting our surveyors in conducting property inspections, gathering data, and providing reports to clients. You will also have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including residential property valuations, property risk assessments, and surveying reports.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist surveyors in conducting property inspections and gathering data
  • Provide reports to clients on property valuations, risk assessments, and surveying reports
  • Work on a variety of projects, including residential property valuations, property risk assessments, and surveying reports
  • Develop skills and knowledge in residential surveying and property risk services
  • Work closely with our experienced team of RICS-registered surveyors
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need to meet the following requirements:

  • Be eligible for the 1-year route to AssocRICS accreditation
  • Have a strong base knowledge of Residential Building Pathology
  • Hold a RICS or CIOB accredited degree or post-graduate qualification, plus a minimum of one-year industry relevant work experience
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Be able to work as part of a team and build effective working relationships
  • Have strong problem-solving and analytical skills, initiative, and a proactive approach
