Senior Portfolio Manager, Direct Lending Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned Portfolio Manager to join our Direct Lending team at E Fundresearch. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving origination and execution of direct lending transactions in Europe, with a focus on middle market and larger cap transactions.
Key Responsibilities- Source and evaluate new transactions, conduct due diligence, and prepare credit approval memos to obtain credit committee approval.
- Develop strategic relationships with market participants, including banks, advisors, financial sponsors, and direct borrowers, to support lending opportunities.
- Manage portfolio accounts, monitoring performance and covenant compliance, and providing performance updates to managers.
- Collaborate with the investment organization, including portfolio management professionals and the corporate research group, to drive business growth.
- Participate in fund raising efforts as needed.
- Minimum of 12 years' experience investing in middle market lending transactions, including origination and credit underwriting.
- Strong experience in leading negotiations of credit agreements and other legal documentation.
- Prior established relationships with debt advisory community, private equity community, and other direct lenders.
- Strong work ethic and integrity, with a proactive and self-motivated approach.
- Good communicator with strong written and oral presentation abilities.
- Business fluent German required.
