Job Title: Primary Education Support Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Primary Education Support Assistant to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As a Primary Education Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the inclusion team and class teachers in the support of pupils with special educational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work under the guidance of teachers in the planning and implementation of work programmes with individuals or groups of pupils with special educational needs.
  • Provide general support to the inclusion team and class teachers in the support of pupils with special educational needs inside and outside of the classroom.
  • Assist the teachers and inclusion team in creating and maintaining a purposeful, orderly and supportive learning environment.
  • Promote the inclusion of all pupils, ensuring they have equal opportunities to learn, develop and be successful.
  • Be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children within the school.

Requirements:

  • A passionate Teaching Assistant who is educated to degree level and experience of working with children with additional needs.
  • Flexible and able to work as part of a team to improve the outcomes for pupils.
  • Able to plan and deliver a range of interventions for pupils to support their academic and emotional wellbeing.
  • Actively engaged in improving their own skills through seeking constructive feedback.
  • A graduate.

Location:

The school is located in Greenford, a short walk away from Perivale station, making it easily accessible by train, with bus routes also nearby. The school also has a staff car park, with some spaces available.
