Shift Times: 06:30 - 16:15
Salary: £12.18
Main Responsibilities:
- Removal of waste or recyclables from residential and commercial properties and public land/highways in accordance with relevant environmental regulations.
- Cleaning locations where spills and split bags have occurred and responsible for safe removal of hazardous substances. Ensure areas are left clean and tidy after collections/operations, including replacement of bins.
- Cleaning public land, highways, and main roads as directed by line manager.
- Performing grounds maintenance as directed, including using mechanical hand tools such as pedestrian mower, strimmers, and hedge cutters.
Required Experience:
- Experience in labouring work or heavy manual work.
- Experience in delivering high standards of customer care.
- Experience in a waste-based environment.
- Experience in undertaking a variety of manual tasks in a recycling facility.
- Experience in Health & Safety in an operational environment.
Key Skills:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Physical stamina to perform manual tasks.
- Basic knowledge of health and safety procedures.
