The client is a reputable organisation, operating in the finance sector with a global presence. The company operates a hybrid working policy and offers on-site parking.

**Job Responsibilities**

The Financial Assistant will:

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with the business unit(s) and provide exceptional customer service
  • Prepare and issue monthly invoices to clients
  • Perform order processing tasks to ensure accurate revenue recognition
  • Assist with credit control activities to ensure timely payment from clients
  • Process creditors invoices and payment runs to maintain accurate financial records
  • Prepare, analyse, and present working capital results to leadership teams to inform strategic decisions
  • Prepare various balance sheet reconciliations, including bank and inter-company accounts to ensure financial accuracy
  • Assist with special ad hoc projects that impact various stakeholders within the organisation

**Requirements**

The Financial Assistant will be/have:

  • Proficiency in using finance systems and software
  • Strong Excel skills to analyse and present financial data
  • A finance background with a strong understanding of accounting principles
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with stakeholders
  • Immediate availability to start the temporary role
