We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Apprentice Building/Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Apex Resources. As a key member of our construction team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the successful delivery of our social housing programs and internal/external refurbishment projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in the management of multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget.
- Develop strong commercial acumen through hands-on experience and training.
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve project goals, utilizing excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Contribute to the development of project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Participate in site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with safety protocols and quality standards.
- Previous experience in project management or a related field is preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information to stakeholders.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
- Full UK driving license, with a valid vehicle for business use.
- Ability to pass a DBS check.
