Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Special Education Support Assistant to join our team at EdEx Education Recruitment. As a Special Education Support Assistant, you will provide support to pupils across EYFS, KS1, and KS2 with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and behavioral requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized support to pupils with SEN and behavioral requirements
- Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement personalized learning plans
- Assist pupils with daily living skills, such as personal care and hygiene
- Support pupils with communication and social skills development
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of strategies to support pupils with SEN
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children with SEN
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
- Passion for education and creating an inclusive learning environment
