About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and empathetic individual to join our Resident Advice and Information Team as a Resident Advisor. This exciting opportunity will enable you to work directly with our customers, providing support and guidance to those in need.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with residents who are experiencing or at risk of crisis, caused by financial situation, poor physical or mental health, unemployment, relationship breakdown, or homelessness.
  • Develop and implement personalized plans to address the customer's needs, including signposting and referrals to relevant services.
  • Monitor and record the impact of interventions, contributing to the performance management framework.
  • Liaise with internal and external services, completing referrals and sharing information in accordance with our procedures.
Requirements
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Understanding and empathy for customers experiencing crisis situations.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including a rota system, and participate in face-to-face meetings and appointments.
  • Confidence in sharing information appropriately and raising concerns when necessary.
