Fleet Operations Manager

Join our team at AD Recruit Limited as we seek a highly skilled Fleet & Compliance Supervisor to oversee our vehicle fleet efficiently, provide reporting and support to our internal Operations teams, and ensure we deliver great customer service to our clients.
The OpportunityThis role provides the opportunity to develop and implement best practice and a long-term strategy to support the overall business strategy of growth into various sectors and a nationwide presence. You'll need to be self-disciplined, accountable, flexible and have the vision to design and implement new or improved processes and standards as the fleet and compliance needs increase.
Key Responsibilities- Streamline and implement fleet management strategies and business processes to optimise operational efficiency and enhance fleet performance
- Manage a team responsible for coordinating vehicle maintenance, repairs and inspections
- Deliver and identify areas for improvement within the Fleet & Compliance team
- Manage and adjust reporting on key department statistics
- Monitor and maintain a fleet procurement / replacement program
- Oversee the insurance policy for both fleet and compliance for the business
- Manage the renewal process on all accreditation schemes and programs
- Proactively implement a training plan across the business for skill improvements
- Provide a support function to the Commercial Director on Health & Safety requirements, internal auditing functions and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Experience in fleet management and compliance / reporting
- Business acumen including financial, analytical and commercial
- Effective problem solving, planning and dispute resolution
- Working independently and part of a wider supervisor team
