Chief Executive Officer

We are seeking a visionary leader to join our team as our new Chief Executive Officer. As a leading organisation engaging men and boys and organisations to prevent gender-based violence, we have achieved considerable success in raising the importance of Primary Prevention with decision makers, organisations and the general public through our campaigns, advocacy and work with organisations.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering strategic plans, managing daily operations and a small team, and building relationships with stakeholders. They will also have strong financial acumen, experience of working with a Board of Trustees, and a commitment to Diversity, Equality, and Inclusion (DEI).

The role will involve driving growth, expanding networks, and influencing public policy, as well as representing the organisation and building relationships with key stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be an agile leader, who values the culture we've created—collaborative, adaptable, and committed to positive change.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership & Strategic Vision: Delivering strategic plans and managing daily operations
  • Operational Management: Managing a small team and building relationships with stakeholders
  • Financial Management: Strong financial acumen and experience of working with a Board of Trustees
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Building relationships with key stakeholders and representing the organisation
  • Growth & Development: Driving growth, expanding networks, and influencing public policy
  • Governance: Experience of working with a Board of Trustees and ensuring effective governance
  • Personal Attributes: Commitment to the charity's mission, interpersonal and communications skills, and commitment to DEI

What We Offer:

We offer a competitive salary of £50,000 to £60,000, a hybrid working arrangement, and the opportunity to work with a leading charity in the field of preventing men's violence against women and girls.
