Senior Ports Consultant

AqualisBraemar LOC is seeking a highly skilled Senior Ports Consultant to join our Ports and Harbours team. As a key member of our team, you will provide marine consultancy services to clients, undertaking fee-earning assignments and maintaining a high level of billable utilization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide marine consultancy services to clients, including marine risk studies, vessel manoeuvring, port operations, and marine governance services.
  • Assist with business development and marketing activities, generating leads and preparing proposals for Ports and Harbours consultancy.
  • Represent the Company to the ports and harbours market and to the legal / insurance market.
  • Support other areas of the business as appropriate, relevant to your own skills, experience, and expertise.
Requirements:
  • Unlimited Master Mariner (STCW II/2) or sailed as Captain.
  • At least 10 years maritime experience.
  • Possess good knowledge of port operations and port management procedures.
  • At least 5 years work in a similar role or connected role (e.g. Harbour Master or Pilot).
  • Previous experience in a marine consultancy environment is advantageous.
