Accounts Payable Analyst Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
  • Verify invoices for accuracy and match against purchase orders before sending to the offsite imaging center.
  • Communicate with new suppliers and update supplier banking information to prevent fraudulent activity.
  • Assist AP Supervisors in reviewing weekly multiple currency payment runs.
  • Identify and escalate problem accounts to Supervisors and AP Manager as needed.
  • Process urgent payments and reconcile key supplier statement accounts.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in accounts payable, preferably with more than one year of experience.
  • Proficiency in accounting software, such as Oracle, and experience with aged creditor reviews.
  • Understanding of fraud prevention and awareness of potential red flags.
  • Strong Microsoft Outlook skills and experience with processing invoices from various countries.
