We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join our team at Marshalls PLC. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the continuous running of our production process by eliminating downtime through a safe and logical approach to fault-finding and maintenance of all site equipment and machinery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Electrical Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical equipment, including complex hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical/electronic control systems.
  • Fault-Finding: Identify and troubleshoot electrical faults, and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Electrical Team Leader and other maintenance team members to ensure effective communication and coordination of maintenance activities.
  • Process Improvement: Contribute to the development and implementation of process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with current environmental, health and safety regulations and requirements.

Requirements

  • Electrical Engineering Skills: Excellent electrical engineering skills with mechanical experience is essential.
  • Qualifications: Apprentice trained Engineer to NVQ Level 3 standard in an Engineering discipline preferred.
  • Certifications: JIB 18th edition qualified.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
