Compensation:
£40,000-£50,000 per annum

Work Schedule:
Monday to Thursday 8am - 5pm, Friday 8am - 4pm

Glu Recruit is in search of a skilled, driven, and proficient Senior CAD Engineering Supervisor to oversee and produce 2D and 3D construction drawings and models for our client.

The ideal candidate will serve as the primary technical design coordinator, ensuring the accuracy of designs from the initial concept through to final execution.


Key Duties:
  • Create comprehensive project and production technical drawings for steel and concrete structures, including tanks, bases, and roofs in both 2D and 3D formats as necessary.
  • Facilitate the coordination of drawings and designs among our team, suppliers, and clients to secure timely approvals.

Qualifications:
  • Extensive background in civil engineering and/or structural steel engineering.
  • Proficient in 2D and 3D CAD software (AutoCAD and other 3D applications such as Inventor).
  • Experience in the civil engineering or structural steel sector in a similar capacity.
  • Strong prioritization and multitasking abilities based on project demands.
  • Keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent problem-solving capabilities.
  • Effective communication skills across all levels, including colleagues, clients, suppliers, consultants, and site teams.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word; familiarity with Microsoft Project is preferred.
  • Experience with specific design software such as STAAD or similar is a significant advantage.
