We are seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Reporting Lead to join our team at Metro Bank. As a key member of our Finance department, you will be responsible for leading the submission of COREP/FINREP returns to our regulators, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of regulatory reporting requirements, including credit risk, asset encumbrance, leverage ratio, large exposures, LCR, NSFR, and ALMM. You will also have experience in managing a team and supporting colleagues in their development.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Leading the submission of COREP/FINREP returns to our regulators
- Ensuring accuracy and timeliness of returns
- Improving and developing reconciliation processes and sign-off procedures for major returns
- Enhancing efficiencies in reporting procedures
- Supporting the Risk team for ICAAP and AIRB reporting projects
- Integrating new returns into existing regulatory data
- Assisting in automating existing reports into 3rd party software
- Collaborating with colleagues from the finance team to ensure data accuracy and consistency
We are looking for a candidate with a strong analytical mindset, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work to strict deadlines. A qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or equivalent) with experience in a BAU Regulatory Reporting role is essential.
