We are seeking a highly skilled Senior MEP Consultant to spearhead the establishment of our new office in London. This role presents a unique opportunity to become an equity partner within our esteemed consultancy.

Cala Consulting is a prominent full-service MEP design consultancy based in Northern Ireland, recognized for delivering exceptional engineering solutions across various sectors, including residential, commercial, hospitality, and retail.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead project meetings in London, representing the consultancy and engaging in strategic discussions with clients and design teams.
  • Conduct site inspections and oversee ongoing projects to ensure quality and compliance.
  • Drive business development efforts in the second year, building a case for team expansion and the establishment of a new entity.
  • Utilize the group's backend systems, including Finance, IT, and HR, to support the startup phase until the new venture reaches profitability.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in MEP consultancy, with a focus on large-scale commercial projects such as office buildings, residential developments, and hotels.
  • A comprehensive understanding of all facets of Building Services Engineering.
  • Strong commercial awareness and insight into property development and construction economics.
  • Exceptional communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with diverse stakeholders, from site personnel to finance teams.
