About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Design Engineer to join our Physical Design team within Cisco Silicon One. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing high-quality VLSI designs and contributing to the development of our next-generation network devices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop backend methodologies and flows from RTL to GDS
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive design innovation and quality
  • Develop and maintain design tools and scripts to improve design efficiency and accuracy
  • Work closely with engineers to resolve design issues and optimize design performance
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest silicon technologies and processes to drive design innovation
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in backend design
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from a top university
  • Strong understanding of VLSI design principles and methodologies
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
