Job Summary:
The Financial Controller will be responsible for the complete financial accountability of the Bath site, ensuring that the factory's financial performance aligns with Rotork's Growth+ Strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the accurate reporting of all site management and statutory accounts.
- Create and examine all business forecasts, QPRs, and AOPs.
- Head the local finance team at Rotork Group's largest plant.
- Adopt a Business Partner approach to drive financial excellence.
- Manage the financial impact and outcomes of various business or commercial issues.
- Identify control weaknesses and suggest actions for improvement.
- Experience in Accounting for Lean Manufacturing is a plus.
- Proficient in spreadsheets, MS Office, and ERP systems.
- Familiar with financial consolidation tools (SAP BPC, Hyperion).
- Understand risk management and progress business practices to reduce risk while improving performance levels.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5+ years accounting or finance experience, ideally in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Hold a recognized professional finance qualification.
- Coaching style to enable team members to continually develop.
- Able to generate enthusiasm and passion across the finance function.
- Able to balance short-term focus on results with longer-term interests.
- Willing to travel internationally and comfortable working in a multi-cultural environment.
