Carpenter Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to deliver high-quality carpentry work within our social housing properties in Andover. This is a permanent contract with a competitive salary of £34,000 per annum.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out all aspects of carpentry work, including door hanging, skirting, architraves, kitchen units, etc.
  • Attend and resolve various repair requests in occupied properties, ensuring efficient service.
  • Work within reactive repairs, responding swiftly to maintenance needs and ensuring minimal disruption for tenants.
  • Prepare and refurbish void properties, making them ready for new tenants.
  • Basic knowledge of plumbing, tiling, or other trades is desired but not essential.
  • Ensure all work complies with relevant health and safety regulations and company standards.
Requirements:
  • Experience in carpentry, preferably within the social housing sector.
  • Must have your own tools.
  • Relevant carpentry qualifications (NVQ Level 2 or equivalent).
  • Full clean UK driving license.
