In line with NHS Scotland's initiative to reduce the full-time working week from 37.5 to 37 hours starting April 2024, this position will reflect the new working hours. Please note that while this change is being implemented, some service areas may require temporary adjustments to accommodate the transition.

This role offers a unique opportunity to enhance your skills and advance your career within a collaborative environment that includes Podiatry Assistants, Specialist Podiatrists, and Advanced Podiatrists. Our Podiatry Service is committed to providing high-quality care through thorough triage, assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for a wide range of conditions.

This position is integral to building strong foundations within the AHP Practice Based Learning (PrBL) network across NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde and NHS Scotland, while also influencing the quality of clinical education for undergraduate Podiatry programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of practice-based learning for undergraduate podiatry students.
  • Deliver quality, person-centered care to a diverse patient population.
  • Collaborate with local and wider Podiatry teams to support service delivery.
  • Engage with Higher Education Institution colleagues to enhance practice-based learning.

Essential skills for this role include excellent communication, problem-solving abilities, self-discipline, and a compassionate approach to patient care. This position is offered on a full-time basis.
