Maintenance Manager - Section

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to join our team at Tarmac Trading Limited. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for managing the section, ensuring the efficient operation of our plant and equipment, and driving continuous improvement.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage the maintenance section, ensuring the efficient operation of plant and equipment
  • Develop and implement maintenance plans to minimize downtime and maximize productivity
  • Lead a team of maintenance personnel, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful completion of tasks
  • Monitor and report on maintenance performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in maintenance management, preferably in a heavy manufacturing industry
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team
  • Ability to analyze data and identify areas for improvement
  • Knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, with an understanding of electrical systems
  • Relevant qualifications, such as HNC/HND or BEng, advantageous
