At Hunter Bond, we are seeking a highly skilled Security Specialist to join our elite cybersecurity team. This role is ideal for a professional ready to safeguard critical infrastructure in a fast-paced, high-stakes trading environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Threat Intelligence: Monitor and analyze threats, conduct threat hunting, and maintain threat models to ensure the security of our high-frequency trading infrastructure.
  • Vulnerability Management: Lead vulnerability assessments, manage remediation efforts, and oversee security tools to identify and mitigate potential threats.
  • Incident Response: Develop response protocols, manage incidents, and provide post-incident analysis to ensure business continuity.
  • Policy Development: Contribute to security policies and advise on emerging threats to ensure our security posture remains strong.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with internal teams to align on security initiatives and ensure seamless communication.
Requirements:
  • 5-7 years of experience in cybersecurity, focusing on threat and vulnerability management.
  • Proficiency in Python and PowerShell for automation and scripting.
  • Hands-on experience with vulnerability scanners such as Nessus, Qualys, or OpenVAS, including configuration, deployment, and analysis of scan results.
  • Experience with security tools such as SIEM and IDS/IPS.
  • Certifications like CISSP, CISM, or CEH preferred.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
