We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to join our team in the Plymouth Area.
This role offers the opportunity to work with exceptional schools that are committed to providing the best learning experiences for their students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting teachers in the classroom to deliver high-quality education to students with special educational needs
- Assisting with lesson planning and preparation to ensure a tailored approach to each student's needs
- Providing one-to-one support to students with SEN to help them access the curriculum
- Collaborating with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans
- Contributing to a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes social, emotional, and academic growth
Requirements:
- Relevant teaching qualification and experience working with children with special educational needs
- Ability to work effectively with teachers, students, and other support staff to achieve educational goals
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond to changing student needs
- Commitment to ongoing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in SEN support
