HGV Class 2 Operators Required


About the Role
SourceCo Recruitment is excited to partner with a prominent family-owned enterprise in the UK, renowned for its innovative approach and substantial workforce. We are currently seeking skilled HGV Class 2 Operators to join our team at a key distribution hub.

Working Schedule
Shifts commence between early morning hours, with a requirement to work 5 out of 6 Saturdays. The schedule is as follows:

  • Week 1: Monday to Saturday
  • Week 2: Any four days

Compensation
Competitive pay rates are offered:

  • Monday to Friday: £14.50 - £16.25 per hour
  • Saturdays: £17 - £19.05 per hour
  • Sundays: £18 - £20.17 per hour

Location
Position based in a central distribution area.

Key Responsibilities
The role involves:

  • Multi-drop deliveries of caged products to various retail outlets.
  • Utilizing a tail lift for offloading goods.
  • Conducting vehicle inspections and reporting any issues.
  • Completing necessary documentation post-delivery.
  • Maintaining professionalism in accordance with company standards.

Opportunities for Growth
There are temp-to-perm positions available for suitable candidates.

Candidate Requirements
To qualify for this position, candidates must possess:

  • A valid Category C Licence (Class 2) with a minimum of 6 months experience.
  • No more than 9 penalty points on their driving record.
  • A full CPC qualification.
  • A valid Digital Tachograph Card.
