Metal Fabrication Specialist

Position Overview:

Compensation:
Competitive salary up to £15 per hour, with opportunities for overtime at enhanced pay rates.
Role Description:
This position involves fabricating custom items, where each client's request is unique. You will be expected to interpret and work from engineering drawings independently.
Key Requirements:
• Proficient in MIG welding, capable of working with mild and stainless steel.
• Experience with TIG welding is advantageous but not mandatory.
Responsibilities:
As a Metal Fabrication Specialist, your duties will include:
- MIG welding stainless and mild steel ranging from 2mm to 15mm.
- Operating various manual fabrication equipment.
- Interpreting and executing tasks from engineering CAD drawings.
- Fabricating different types of metal and woodwork, including basic carpentry.
- Adhering to company health and safety regulations as required.
This role is multi-faceted, meaning you will engage in various tasks beyond welding, including basic carpentry work.
Work Schedule:
This is a full-time position with working hours from 07:30 to 16:30, Monday to Friday.
Employment Type:
This is a permanent position, contingent upon the successful completion of a probationary period.
