Position: CNC Maintenance Technician

We are excited to present an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned CNC Maintenance Technician with a background in manufacturing and engineering.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Perform repairs on CNC machinery, manual machines, and machining centers.
  • Install, troubleshoot, and maintain machine tool equipment and control systems.
  • Diagnose issues in hydraulics, electronics, software, and mechanical systems.
  • Utilize technical documents and manuals to investigate machine-related problems.
  • Identify and replace defective components as required.
  • Conduct testing and make necessary adjustments to machinery.
  • Carry out comprehensive condition assessments on CNC equipment.
  • Implement planned and preventative maintenance procedures.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of machine relocations.
  • Report any potential issues that may impact production efficiency.

We are seeking a CNC Maintenance Technician with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Time-served NVQ or degree qualification.
  • Strong electrical and mechanical repair skills, with a focus on diagnostics.
  • Familiarity with CNC machinery, including multi-axis lathes and both horizontal and vertical milling machines.
  • Ability to interpret part manuals, electrical schematics, and troubleshooting guides.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in CNC machinery maintenance within a manufacturing context.
  • Experience with Fanuc controls is a plus.
  • Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform regular standing, walking, and bending tasks.

Compensation:

Salary ranges from £35,000 to £40,000, with additional overtime pay at time and a half, and double time on Sundays.

Working hours are from 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM, Monday to Thursday, and 2:15 PM on Fridays.
