Role Overview

Become a part of our expanding team at Evelyn in the North East, where you will interact with clients focused on regional growth, including significant SMEs and high-net-worth individuals. This position presents opportunities in advisory compliance and project management, offering a unique chance to enhance your career while developing strategic and commercial skills.

Key Responsibilities

- Cultivate and nurture trusted relationships with both existing and prospective clients.

- Provide tailored investment guidance and manage client portfolios, ensuring alignment with the company's investment philosophies and processes.

- Attend to and support client requirements effectively.

- Establish new client relationships and strengthen existing ones through exceptional ongoing service, aiming to minimize attrition and generate new instructions and referrals from satisfied clients.

- Conduct and lead client meetings professionally, ensuring that all information shared is current, technically accurate, and meets client needs.

- Design and maintain appropriate portfolios that reflect clients' requirements, circumstances, tax situations, and risk appetites.

- Regularly review portfolios and implement changes in consultation with colleagues when necessary.

- Collaborate with Financial Planning (FP) and Professional Services (PS) teams to enhance client relationships.

- Maintain comprehensive and accurate client records in accordance with Group policy.

Candidate Profile

Desired Qualifications

- Minimum Level 6 Qualification or Chartered status.

- Strong understanding of the financial services sector and investment landscape.

- Proven experience in managing client investment portfolios and delivering investment advice.

- Familiarity with restructuring newly acquired portfolios to align with investment policies.

- In-depth technical knowledge and the ability to communicate diverse investment management strategies and solutions effectively.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Experience in leading pitches and securing new business.

- Knowledge of operating within a risk management framework, with a comprehensive understanding of risks and challenges in private client services.
