Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Apprentice Building/Quantity Surveyor to join our team. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for managing subcontract works packages, including interim assessments and change management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage subcontract works packages, including interim assessments and change management.
  • Produce and issue commercial notices to clients and subcontractors as required.
  • Manage change in a timely manner, including the production and submission of Compensation Event Quotations.
  • Produce monthly applications to clients in accordance with the form of contract.
  • Produce detailed monthly reports and Cost Value Reconciliation's (CVR) as required.
  • Develop and maintain a detailed 'Cost Plan', tracking and forecasting expenditure.
  • Attend weekly progress and risk reduction meetings with clients and subcontractors.

Requirements:

  • Solid knowledge of construction processes.
  • Relevant degree and/or experience in a commercial environment.
  • CSCS certification.
