Join Our Team as a Graduate Econometrician

Frontier Economics is a leading economics consultancy that provides expert analysis and strategic advice to governments, businesses, and society. We are seeking a talented Graduate Econometrician to join our team and contribute to our mission of delivering high-quality economic insights.

About the Role

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual with a strong background in economics and econometrics. As a Graduate Econometrician, you will be responsible for:

  • Delivering robust and accurate technical or theoretical analysis
  • Contributing to the writing of reports, slide packs, or notes, using clear and concise language
  • Applying economic frameworks, from simple data analysis to complex econometric modeling
  • Continuing to develop and grow your Excel, R, Stata, and modeling skills
  • Collaborating with project teams and working independently on analysis projects
  • Managing your own work and time to meet project deadlines
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A 2:1 Bachelor's degree in Economics (or equivalent) and a Master's in Economics/with an Economics focus
  • Strong interest and understanding of micro-economics
  • Strong Excel skills and a good knowledge of R and/or Stata
  • Fluency in the native language of the country you are applying to (a second language is also desirable, but not essential)
