We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Band 5 nurse to join our team at the Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust, working in the Oncology Outpatients department at the Berkshire Cancer Centre.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and supporting a wide range of specialty clinics, developing services according to patient demand and need, and working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.
Main ResponsibilitiesThis is an exciting opportunity for qualified nurses to extend their knowledge in oncology specialty and gain experience in managing an outpatient setting.
The post holder will work as a skilled practitioner, responsible for the delivery of patient-focused care, addressing the complex and changing health and well-being needs of oncology patients.
Key RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- Registered Nurse - part 1 qualification
- Current NMC registration
- Evidence of recent continuous professional development
Additionally, you will have:
- Experience of working in an acute clinical environment
