About the Role

VF Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Credit Risk Analyst to join our team in the EMEA region.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing and managing credit risks within our portfolio, examining financial data for new and existing customers, and analyzing economic trends to identify potential risks.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Financial Analysis: Analyze customer financial accounts, approve credit limits, and payment terms to minimize risk and maximize future sales.
  2. Risk Management: Maintain a detailed overview of customer master data and relevant risks, adhering to company policies and legal requirements.
  3. Economic Analysis: Monitor macro and micro economic data and trends to anticipate potential risks.
  4. Reporting and Insights: Provide detailed and up-to-date reports and data to senior management, supporting strategic business decisions regarding credit risk policies and scoring models.
  5. Collaboration and Training: Act as a key point of contact with credit rating agencies, collaborating with cross-functional teams and providing risk-related training to relevant departments.
  6. Risk-Based Meetings: Participate in risk-based meetings and prepare/present credit risk reports to senior management, highlighting key risk indicators and areas of concern or opportunity for improvement.
Requirements
  1. Background in Credit-Related Function: A background in a credit-related function, risk management, financial accounting, and/or an analytical role.
  2. Strong Communication Skills: Strong communication skills in both written and verbal English communication, with the ability to build strong working relationships and present in an effective and influential manner.
  3. Technical Skills: A working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, Excel, VBA functions, and Power BI.
  4. Financial Knowledge: A comprehensive understanding of financial statements, including Balance Sheets, Profit & Loss Statements, and Cash Flow Statements.
