About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Loading Shovel Operator to join our team at Hexis Talent Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient processing of recyclable materials.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Operate fixed and mobile plant to process recyclable materials, minimizing waste to landfill.
  • Load the shredder in the Material Recycling Facility (MRF).
  • Mix and load materials to optimize processing efficiency.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure equipment is in good working order.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a recycling or waste management environment.
  • Strong understanding of health and safety protocols and procedures.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual handling tasks.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive hourly rate of £15 - £15.50.
  • A permanent, full-time contract with 55 hours per week on a rota basis (Monday - Sunday).
  • Overtime opportunities available.
