Position OverviewIn this role, reporting directly to the General Manager, the Inventory and Systems Supervisor will oversee the comprehensive management and oversight of our clients' entire SKU inventory. This includes system access, relevant system training, participation in stock storage strategies, and stock-related reporting, all in accordance with the contractual KPIs and SLAs established with our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implementing processes that ensure stock integrity.
- Collaborating with the operations team to maintain product batch integrity.
- Examining all stock discrepancies, adjusting inventory levels as necessary, and providing trend analysis.
- Working closely with the operations team at all levels to foster continuous improvement in stock accuracy.
- Ensuring that processes and reporting align with both daily operational needs and contractually agreed targets.
- Conducting stock audits as per client requirements and managing any internal or external audit requests.
- Championing training and development initiatives for the inventory team.
- Maintaining pick and reserve location requirements to align with sales activity throughput.
- Recommending updates and modifications to the system to ensure the quality system remains relevant.
- Creating an environment that encourages employee engagement and effective teamwork.
- Ensuring that employees are actively involved in the success of operations through ongoing feedback and positive communication.
- Promoting high standards of hygiene and housekeeping while ensuring compliance with all legislative health requirements.
- Understanding and adhering to the standards set forth in the Quality Management System.
- Experience in managing or working within a stock and process team environment is preferred.
- Proven experience in team management, ideally across a shift system.
- Background in warehouse operations or supply chain management.
- Experience with luxury brands or FMCG products is advantageous, especially with SKUs that experience seasonal fluctuations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in Excel at an intermediate level or higher.
- A track record of drive, determination, and delivering continuous improvement.
- Experience working directly with clients is a plus.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines in an organized and composed manner.
- Experience with dynamic SKU profiles and high-volume peaks.
- Familiarity with Autostore WMS is a distinct advantage.
