We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Building Surveyor to join our team at Howells Solutions Limited. The successful candidate will be working on a planned maintenance contract for a leading social housing provider in North London.
Key Responsibilities:- Inspect buildings to identify defects and recommend repairs
- Assist senior surveyors in managing property portfolios and transactions
- Prepare technical due diligence reports and building pathology surveys
- Monitor construction work and the performance of project design teams
- Produce reports to clients and engage in face-to-face communication
- Travel to appointments around the UK, primarily in London and the South East
- Manage contracts from start to finish, including dealing with Party Wall matters, Dilapidations, and Defect diagnosis
- Have good knowledge of current Building Regulations
Requirements:
- Self-motivated and professional individual with specialist skills in building surveying, project management, and budgetary control
- Excellent communication and influencing skills to work with a wide range of stakeholders
- Ability to manage technical and complex projects from start to finish
- Good knowledge of current Building Regulations
- Must have own car
