Financial Controller

NXTGEN Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Management Accountant to join our team in a dynamic and growing manufacturing business. As a key member of the finance team, you will work closely with the Finance Director to drive business growth and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the delivery of the month-end close for the UK and subsidiary businesses, providing insightful financial performance analysis to stakeholders.
- Develop and implement annual budgeting and forecasting processes, identifying opportunities for improved performance and presenting recommendations to the Management team.
- Collaborate with the Finance Director to design and deliver the company's financial objectives, ensuring alignment with business strategy.
- Work closely with commercial and operational teams to optimize cash flow forecasting, capital expenditure projects, and cost control initiatives.
- Assist with technical submissions and year-end processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Requirements:
- CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualification or equivalent experience in a similar role.
- Proven track record of working in a small to medium-sized enterprise (SME) business, with a strong understanding of financial management principles.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior stakeholders and management.
- Strong IT and Excel skills, with experience of working with financial systems and tools.
- Experience in the manufacturing industry is highly desirable.
