Position Overview

We are currently seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team at Supersede Recruitment Partners. This role is essential for ensuring the optimal performance of our manufacturing equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Enhance and maintain the efficiency of machinery and equipment through both reactive and planned maintenance.
  • Conduct thorough root cause analysis (RCA) to identify issues within the production environment.
  • Implement both immediate and long-term solutions for equipment breakdowns.
  • Execute Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) tasks within designated timeframes.
  • Deliver high-quality engineering support to both production and engineering teams.
  • Accurately log engineering downtime, monitor repair durations, and explore innovative methods to minimize these times.
  • Provide training and support to production personnel.
Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A background in the food, FMCG, or manufacturing sectors, with substantial experience in executing PPMs.
  • A multi-skilled engineering profile with a focus on mechanical expertise.
  • A strong understanding of mechanical systems and a commitment to reliability and continuous improvement.
  • A genuine interest in professional development within the engineering field, with training provided as necessary.
  • Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
