PAT Tester (Electrical Equipment Tester) Job Description

Job Type: Full-time

Hours: Monday to Friday, 45 hours per week

Salary: GBP26,400 (OTE) GBP39,000 per year

Project Start Recruitment Solutions is seeking a skilled PAT Tester (Electrical Equipment Tester) to join our national team of Engineers. As a leading provider of electrical safety services, we offer a unique opportunity to work with a variety of clients and expand your expertise in electrical equipment testing.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Carry out in-service inspection and testing of electrical equipment in accordance with the current edition of the IET Code of Practice.
  2. Produce results that meet the requirements and quality standards of clients and external accrediting bodies.
  3. Adhere to Company Health & Safety Policies and Procedures at all times.
  4. Act with integrity and professionalism in all communications with clients and colleagues.
  5. Stay up-to-date with changes and amendments to standards, regulations, and best practices within the industry.
Requirements:
  1. City & Guilds 2377 qualification.
  2. Full UK Driving Licence.
  3. Relevant computer literacy to enable generation and electronic submission of results.
  4. Strong verbal communication skills.
  5. Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
  6. Flexibility and good personal organisation.
