Job Title: Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic maintenance team at Saíd Business School.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform reactive, planned, and preventative maintenance tasks across all school buildings, ensuring all work is logged on the help desk system.
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and welfare regulations, completing and documenting all necessary procedures.
  • Supervise contractors, providing inductions, monitoring safety, and ensuring work areas are properly managed.
  • Assist skilled technicians with plumbing, electrical, and carpentry tasks, and carry out basic maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, basic plumbing, and carpentry.
  • Be available for early, late, and weekend shifts as part of a rotational system, including being on-call for out-of-hours issues.
Requirements:
  • Strong DIY and maintenance skills, including plumbing, carpentry, and decorating.
  • Significant recent experience in building maintenance within highly serviced environments.
  • A full, clean UK driving license.
  • Proficiency in using hand/power tools and associated safety equipment.
  • The Right to Work within the UK.
