Service Advisor Vacancy
We are currently recruiting for a new Service Advisor to join our team at Wessex Garages Holdings Ltd, helping us maintain our high standards of customer service and vehicle repair.
About the Role
As a Service Advisor, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences, ensuring our customers receive the best possible service and vehicle repair solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Handling customer requirements for service and vehicle repairs in a professional and efficient manner.
- Liaising with the workshop to progress work through the system.
- Controlling computer-based jobs, purchasing, and invoice processes to protect the financial interests of customers and the company.
- Communicating with customers about any faults or repairs found on their vehicle and providing clear solutions.
- Maintaining accurate customer records, including vehicle details and service histories.
- Staying up-to-date with aftersales products and services, with opportunities to upsell where appropriate.
- Ensuring the customer database is updated and accurate at all times.
Essential Skills
- A passion for delivering great customer service and resolving issues efficiently.
- Demonstrable computer literacy and knowledge of IT systems and applications.
- The ability to multitask and adapt to a busy environment.
- Strong communication and influencing skills to explain complex information accurately.
- Strong organisational skills to schedule work effectively.
- Ability to prioritise workload and work with defined processes and guidelines.
- Good core administration skills to capture customer details accurately.
- A full UK driving licence.
Nice to Have
- Experience of upselling products or services is desirable.
