Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Firmware Team Lead to join our team at IC Resources. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading the development of firmware for our cutting-edge products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and oversight to a team of firmware engineers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality firmware solutions.
  • Code Review and Standards: Conduct thorough code reviews and implement formal coding standards to ensure consistency and quality across the team.
  • Problem-Solving and Debugging: Utilize strong analytical skills to identify and resolve complex firmware issues, and develop effective solutions to improve product performance.
  • Performance Tuning and Optimization: Optimize firmware performance on embedded devices, ensuring seamless integration with other system components.
  • Version Control and Collaboration: Manage version control systems (Git) and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient software development and deployment.
  • Team Management and Mentoring: Lead and mentor a small team of engineers, providing guidance and support to ensure their growth and success.
  • Project Management and Coordination: Utilize project management tools (GANTT charts) to coordinate and manage firmware development projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes.
Desirable Skills
  • Ambarella Platform Experience: Familiarity with the Ambarella platform (A12, H22) and experience in tuning Wi-Fi/Bluetooth stacks on Linux systems.
  • Embedded Device Development: Experience in developing embedded devices with connected companion apps, and basic knowledge of web technologies (JSON, HTML).
