We are currently seeking two qualified Vehicle Maintenance Specialists to become part of our esteemed team at one of our retailers. Our workshop is equipped with cutting-edge technology and provides a safe, welcoming environment for all employees.

As a member of our dedicated team, you will contribute to our mission of enhancing safety and convenience for everyone. About the Role...

In this position, you will collaborate with a team of experts at one of our reputable retailers. We provide comprehensive manufacturer training, so prior experience with our brand is not a prerequisite. Regular training sessions at our development center will ensure you stay informed about the latest advancements in automotive technology.

Key Responsibilities...

  • Accurately complete work orders detailing repairs performed, parts needed, and labor charges.
  • Utilize diagnostic tools to assess vehicle performance and generate precise reports for the Workshop Controller.
  • Interpret and apply technical data and guidelines provided by the manufacturer.
  • Conduct routine maintenance on vehicles entering the workshop.
  • Safely remove and install vehicle components following manufacturer protocols.
  • Perform vehicle health assessments and identify potential issues.
  • Prepare new vehicles for delivery.
  • Execute technical repairs in accordance with established procedures.
  • Ensure the appropriate materials, tools, and measuring devices are utilized.
  • Document any faults on job cards and communicate additional issues to the Service Manager/Workshop Controller.
  • Maintain accurate records of work hours and material usage.
  • Adhere to vehicle safety standards prior to returning vehicles to customers.

What We Are Looking For...

  • Candidates with experience in independent garages, fast-fit centers, car supermarkets, or main dealerships are encouraged to apply.
  • A qualified Vehicle Technician with an industry-recognized qualification, ideally at level 3, though level 2 will be considered (IMI, City & Guilds, or equivalent).
  • A collaborative team player who is comfortable following established processes and protocols.
  • A valid UK Driving License.
  • A motivated, organized individual with a strong focus on workplace health and safety.
  • Proficiency with technology and confidence in using software applications.
  • An MOT License is preferred but not essential, as comprehensive training will be provided.

Working Hours: Monday to Thursday from 08:30 to 17:00, and Fridays from 08:30 to 16:30.

Competitive salary based on experience, with overtime opportunities available.
