About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Finance Director to lead our newly established finance team. As a strategic leader, you will be responsible for ensuring the organization operates with unwavering financial integrity while promoting a culture of fiscal responsibility and strategic investment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions to ensure financial processes and policies are both compliant and best-in-class.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external auditors to uphold the highest standards of financial governance and reporting.
  • Oversee the organization's investment portfolio, ensuring that funds are allocated effectively to support both immediate needs and long-term objectives.
  • Lead a team of finance professionals, blending strategic oversight with practical management.
Requirements
  • Qualified Accountant with strong post-qualification experience.
  • Experience of inter-company trading and recharges.
  • Experience of working closely with non-financial budget holders.
  • Experience of producing business plans and budgets.
  • Experience of leading large-scale projects during their initial planning and development phases.
  • Experience of managing a finance department.
  • Experience of creating a Business Partnering function.
  • Strong background in managing, evaluating, and nurturing a team of finance professionals.
What We Offer
  • Salary: £90,000 - £110,000.
  • Employee benefits package including a generous pension scheme with employer contributions (up to 12%), life assurance, and annual leave of 27 days plus bank holidays.
  • Full-time, permanent role.
  • Hybrid working arrangement with approximately 2 days per week in our London office.
