Job SummaryWe are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our Statutory Inspection department as a Trainee Inspector.
Responsibilities- Inspect a wide range of safety and work equipment within a wind turbine.
- Work as part of a team of inspectors to ensure the highest safety and environmental standards.
- Travel to and from wind farms throughout the UK with regular overnight stays required.
- Relevant formal qualifications, minimum SVQ/NVQ level 3 (electrical, mechanical, etc.), and/or comprehensive experience in a relevant industry.
- Three years of hydraulic, electrical, or mechanical experience in an industrial environment, e.g., wind farms, power stations, industrial process plant, or similar heavy engineering maintenance.
- A full, clean driving license.
- The ability to work at heights of 100 meters and in adverse weather conditions.
- Experience of team working.
- An enthusiastic approach, self-motivated, able to work on own initiative, and well-organized.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- A professional understanding of, and commitment to, the highest standard of health & safety in the work environment.
- A good level of computer literacy.
