About the Role

Cotswold Farm Park is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaning and Maintenance Assistant to join our Guest Services Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, presentation, and condition of all public areas are maintained at a consistently high standard.

Key Responsibilities
  • Indoor Area Cleaning:
    • Vacuuming and sweeping floors
    • Mopping and cleaning surfaces
    • Cleaning and servicing toilet and baby change facilities
    • Emptying litterbins and maintaining a clean environment
    • Cleaning public areas during the day to maintain a high standard of presentation
  • Outdoor Area Cleaning:
    • Litter picking and emptying litterbins
    • Clearing car parks and sweeping paths
    • Using light machinery (leaf blowers, mulchers) as required
    • Cleaning building structures from dirt and cobwebs
    • Changing signs and maintaining a clean and tidy appearance
  • Additional Responsibilities:
    • Providing excellent customer service and handling customer feedback
    • Assisting in other departments as required and trained
    • Managing stock room cleanliness and maintaining a high standard of organization
    • Liaising with line manager and other departments regarding cleaning requirements and jobs
    • Wearing all provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required
    • Managing stock levels for cleaning chemicals or PPE, either by ordering or communicating with line manager/maintenance team
    • Undertaking all training courses required for the job role
    • Maintaining in good condition all equipment, cleaning tools, and own uniform/PPE
    • Participating in Farm Park 1-2-1 and group meetings as required
    • Reporting maintenance issues using the fault reporting system
    Requirements

    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and presentation
    • Willingness to learn and develop skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
    Working Environment

Cotswold Farm Park is a rural location, and own or reliable transport is required. We are not serviced by public transport facilities.
