We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinical Psychologist to join our Specialist Community Forensic Team (SCFT). As a key member of the management team, you will provide clinical leadership and expertise to deliver high-quality, psychologically informed care for patients with complex forensic mental health needs.
Main Responsibilities- Provide specialist risk assessments using structured professional judgement tools (HCR-20) and deliver clinical interventions for the SCFT clinical caseload.
- Support colleagues with a forensically minded psychological approach to care planning and risk management.
- Contribute to the development of the service and provide supervision for the wider multidisciplinary team.
- Participate in research activities and contribute to the growth of our research capacity.

Person Specification- Doctoral Clinical or Forensic Psychology or equivalent
- Registered with HCPC as a Practitioner Psychologist
- Significant experience of working with people with long-term mental health problems
- Relevant specialist CPD training in psychological therapy with long-term mental health problems
