Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Class 1 (C+E) Driver to transport timber goods from mills to various customer sites. The ideal candidate will have a valid LGV/HGV Class 1 C+E License, a valid CPC, and a Digital Tachograph Card. Previous experience in timber transport and ratchet-strapping is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

  • Transport timber goods from mills to customer sites
  • Operate flatbed Class 1 vehicles with ratchet-strapped loads
  • Ensure all deliveries are made safely and on time
  • Maintain high standards of vehicle care and safety

Benefits

  • Competitive hourly rate of £17.00 per hour PAYE or £20.57 via Umbrella
  • 28 days annual leave
  • Night out allowance of £24 per night
  • Weekly earnings of £962

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year HGV experience
  • Valid LGV/HGV Class 1 C+E License
  • Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
  • No more than 9 penalty points
