Water/Wastewater Process Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Water/Wastewater Process Engineer to join our Water & Environment East team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering complex and non-complex projects across various frameworks.
Key Responsibilities- Undertake gravity drainage calculations, including pipe capacity and velocities
- Develop and maintain a working knowledge of Sewers for Adoption / OFWAT Design and Construction Guide
- Conduct risk assessments and identify potential hazards associated with water and/or sewerage operation and construction
- Collaborate with colleagues and clients to deliver projects, including producing technical specifications and proposals
- Work independently, leading projects and delegating tasks to junior team members
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
- Strong understanding of H&S risks associated with water and/or sewerage operation and construction
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Previous experience in the water industry, including knowledge of S185 (diversions) and S98 (requisition) of the Water Industries Act
